Ray Allen will wear a very cool jersey in their first "nickname game"

For those of might now know, Ray Allen played a character named Jesus Shuttlesworth in the 1998 movie He Got Game. It was actually a pretty good movie. Denzel Washington played his father. I have no idea who came up with idea of a nickname game, but I think it will work in the NBA. I can't see it working in the NFL or, God forbid, MLB. But, the NBA doesn't take itself quite as seriously as those other sports do.

The first of these "nickname games" is scheduled for January 21st against the Celtics.
