That would be cool, except, isn't she under a ford contract?

Is Ray targeting Ford drivers and getting them to switch to Dodge?

Ford don't have a place for these drivers they have under contract to go, that's why they keep losing them. Right now Bobby East is undercontract to Ford and they're trying to hold him back in the Midgets and Sprint cars, but he wants to follow all his mentors into the NASCAR ranks. Unless they do something soon to get more Ford teams they'll end up losing all there development drivers to Chevy and Dodge.
 
Never heard of her but I don't keep up with the lady race car drivers.

Erin is very good and has has success at every level thus far. According to the announcement she will be running a limited schedule in three different classes SC, ARCA, and Busch next season.

Things could get interesting in the next year or two with Crocker, Fisher, Passmore, Cobb, and Renshaw all looking to move up. I think this is great for our sport and will attract more attention/female fans.
 
We have watched 3 or 4 very closely when we have been at races and followed their outcome as much as a TV broadcast will allow when not attending a race.

Hubby's and my consensus is that women drivers do not have enough testosterone, literally and figuratively. They do not get angry enough, do not retaliate enough (on the track), do not take as many 'risks', and seem to be too careful and polite (on the track). They, as a group, seem to lack the
3,400pound gorilla mentality when they strap that car on.

But we love them anyway..
