Ray Rice is a piece of ****

only if you leave out racial or sexual slur while you beat her

Ace Sanders, likely to be suspended for four games with no reason being stated by the NFL. Justin Blackmon, suspended indefinitely for pot. Ray Rice beats up his wife, gets a two game suspension.

The NFL has some fucked up priorities.
Yeah, they do. It just doesn't make any sense at all. You talk about sending out the wrong message.

Josh Gordon and Justin Blackmon and others test positive for a "drug" that is perfectly legal in several states with or without a prescription and get at least a year long suspension. Ray Rice knocks his girlfriend (at the time) completely out cold and is caught on video dragging her unconscious body out of the elevator and he gets a whopping two game suspension many months later. This guy is a complete waste of human flesh. Any man who would hit a woman is a coward, a thug, and a complete piece of crap among other things. Roger Goodell has been doing all kinds of things in an effort to improve the image of the NFL and it's players. Most of that has been undone with his handling of these situations here.

:D:XXROFL::waver:Hi Fergy. I figured you'd see this first and like it. ;)

Maybe around Mansfield, Ohio, or possibly even Canton. Those are a couple of backwards ass towns, man. Right around the pro football Hall Of Fame isn't too bad, but you venture too far away and it can get pretty ugly.

Funny, per the NFL, smoking pot is worse than beating your wife. Unbelievable.

I assuming you are going off of the Gordon comparison. I absolutely do not condone Rice's actions and I absolutely can't stand him as a player, but you can't compare the 2 game Rice got to the year that Gordon got. Up until now, Rice was a clean guy, Gordon on the other hand is a 3 time offender, and had multiple chances to clean up his act. Again, I do think beating a women is way worse than smoking weed, but again it was a first time offender vs a two time. By the way I think Rice should have gotten at least 6-8 games, but I agree with the year Gordon got.

"I didn't get it right." No ****.

New rule changes: Six-game ban for first domestic violence offense, lifetime ban for second offense. Boom.

But, how is this going to be enforced. Does there have to be a conviction? Rice wan't convicted of anything by the State of Maryland. They let him off, mostly because his victim, err, his girlfriend/wife didn't want to press charges because it gave her more financial leverage to not do so.

Failed test one was for pot.

Failed test two was for codeine in a prescription medication he had for strep throat.

Failed test three, first sample tested for 16 ng/ml. Thats one nanogram over the 15 ng/ml limit. Thats equivilabt to just walking into a room when someone just lit up. If he smoked, just one hit would put him over that. The second sample tested was clean.

The NFL policy is a joke. The freakin' Olympics limit is 150 ng/ml. To get a year long ban is a complete joke. You can try to justify the 2 games vs season all you want, but fact is, there is no justifying it. You can beat the sh*t out of a woman and get only 2 games is completely ridiculous.

I agree it is a joke, I also think drug policy for my work sucks, but I follow it. NFL players know what they can and can't put in their body, even the smallest amounts. Still think it is on him. Sorry.

NFL or not Baltimore should have disciplined him severely. In fact good people shouldn't want a team member that beats women.

Baltimore not reacting isn't surprising. Hell, they did nothing to a murderer, why would they do any different for a wife beater?

If he smoked, it's completely on him, but as the experts have said, one hit is going to give you a bigger reading than he got. I don't believe he put anything in his body.
