So every year at the Chili Bowl (but I'm not how many years they've been doing it) there's a "Chili Bowl Junior" that goes on for a couple days. Hundreds and hundreds off cars, all kinds of classes, gas and electric, sprints, late models, mods, stock cars, everything that runs on dirt runs here. And these guys are serious too. Walking into the building, there are tabels all over the place with cars being worked on, box trailers, looks like a regular race track....but smaller.
Anyway, one guy from Virginia made his first trip out to the Chili Bowl after hearing me go on and on about it, and brought his modified along with him. Not only did he make his feature, damn near won it. So luckily, I was there to video his race.
