OK, I wouldn't have guessed this. o_O

From Jayski.....

The owner of Richard Childress Racing has discussed putting 2004 Sprint Cup champion Kurt Busch in a fourth car next season if sponsorship can be found. "I have talked to Kurt about running a full season with a fourth team if we had sponsorship,'' Childress told ESPN.com on Friday at Richmond International Raceway. "He's a very, very talented driver. I like Kurt. Kurt and I would get along. There's just not a sponsor out there today that can fill a complete car.'' Busch through a team public relations representative said he had nothing to add to Childress' comments. Childress said he should know his entire driver lineup by mid-October. He plans to field three Sprint Cup teams with drivers Kevin Harvick, Paul Menard and Jeff Burton, as well as three Nationwide teams. Childress' grandson Austin Dillon will drive one of the full-time Nationwide cars with grandson Ty Dillon driving 8-10 Nationwide races while running a full-time Truck Series schedule. "He and I would get along, and he would listen to me,'' Childress said of Busch. "One thing he needs is somebody, when he does do wrong, to discuss how to handle it.'' Busch has spent this season driving for underfunded and primarily unsponsored #51 Phoenix Racing. Phoenix Racing general manager Steve Barkdoll told ESPN.com recently that owner James Finch would welcome Busch back in 2013 if sponsorship was found.

This would be a stellar move by RCR. I hope they do it. Richard could even have Kurt hold his watch the next time Kyle gets out of line.

The gilded Dillon boys, Harvick and Kurt Busch all in one big oganizational stew? Yeah, why not.

I can't wait to see this. Maybe RC is just saying that to help the dufus out, sort of a reverse
physcology[sp?} If he's good enough for RCR, he's good enough for us.......?

It isn't like sponsors are beating down RCR's doors.

I wonder if Richard is practicing his headlock techniques.

I am thinking a more needy team would be more likely. RPM, or even the successful MWR wouldn't have RCRs price tag for the sponsors

MWR is where I thought he would end up. Clint, Truex and Mikey would straighten his ass out.

If only RC had a driver in Cup right now that was well past his day that could take Elliott's spot in the 2 NNS car next year so he can sign Kurt and get back to winning races and championships in Cup.........

It's not just the money issue, it's the bad publicity when he melts down.
Mommy, I don't want [______] Kurt says his team and sponsor suck...I don't wanna suck Mommy.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm...let me think..........Menard? No,.......give me a minute here..........

I'll give you a little hint. First initial of the last name is.............................................................Jeff Burton.

Damn racer, I almost had it!

Burton has been done for a couple of years, but for some reason Cat loves him. Lets face it, Caterpillar isn't picking up any customers through their nascar sponsorship, so they can afford to pay a loser with a good old boy accent for as long as they want.

I think Caterpillar customers and employees love their sponsorship. I have a friend who worked for them for many years during the Ward Burton time and he was a huge Ward fan . They don't need a pretty boy eighteen year old as a spokesperson .
