There is no doubt Labonte got tired of not being able to win with Petty Enterprises. Things need to change at Petty Enterprises if they want to stay afloat.

Bobby would be a great addition to the RCR stable.
That would be two champion drivers when Kevin Harvick wins the Sprint Cup this year.

I'd like to see Bobby get out of Petty. I thought when he went there there was going to be some huge change - obviously the problem lies higher than the Crew Chief/Driver level. I really thought the addition of Loomis and Labonte would make a big difference, clearly not. Heck, isn't Loomis like the GM or something? Sucks.
Anyway - you guys don't think RCR would give Wimmer a shot at a full time Cup ride? He's not doing too bad for them right now.

Maybe that's reference to the Stewart to RCR rumor that went around last fall. That will stay out there until Stewart signs a new deal with Gibbs or RCR announces someone other than Stewart for the #33.
