Sox in Six

I'm pulling for the Sox, but St. Louis is gonna be hard to beat. A lot will depend on 1) Schilling and 2) Pedro removing his cranium from his rectum.

That being said, I sadly must predict Cards in 6 and pray that I am wrong.

I pray you are wrong too EMP !!!!!

See ya point though.

I agree the Cards will be tougher than the Astros would have been. It should be a good match up, though. I hope anyway.

1st game is Sat. in Boston. I will have to go with the Cards. in 7.

If it goes to 7, that means on Sunday night after the Atlanta race, I'll be sitting in the hotel room watching the game with Lizzycat.

mmmmm, can you say "Room Service?" LOL

Well right now gang, after six opinions we are tied at three apiece! :p
well i'll be more than happy to break that tie and cards in 7.

I'm gonna say Sox in Six. Although I fear the Sox may have a let down having dispatched the Evil Empire on Wednesday. It may be hard for them to "get up" for the Cardinals even though it is for the championship.

That being said, the Cardinals pitching has been awful at times. The Astros beat up the Cards pitching staff and the Sox are a little better offensive team than the Astros were.

I don't predict many 3-1 games in this series. Both teams can mash with the best of 'em. Pujols, Rolen and Edmonds are an even better 3-4-5 combination than Manny, Ortiz and Millar. The difference in this series might be the table setters at the top of the line up. Guys like Johnny Damon and Tony Womack being on base when the big guys come up makes a world of difference. Tony's back is a mess too, that may come into play here.

This should be a great series. Grab some popcorn and enjoy.

Yep! And I dont have a clue how it's going...Emmy is watching "Nightmare before Christmas " for the 78th time! <_< Darn 6 year olds!
