What happens after 2011? Kahne will be off to Hendrick. They have always, aside from the very start, been a 2 car operation. They have the $$ to make a splash signing to take over the other ride, but I do not think they will go that route. What I think Red Bull should do?

Move Vickers to the #4 for and let...JUSTIN ALLGAIER...take over the #83 in a Rookie of the Year bid in 2012.

Do it.

Maybe carl Edwards will go to Redbull #4. I could totally see Cousin Carl doing all the crazy stuff Redbull does.

Kahnes over to Hendricks in 2012, and Travis Postrana (SP?) is in to run for ROTY in 2012. He's fan friendly, with a personality. Skill is a back seat to the first 2 prerequisites.(Just ask Danica....) Sorry Danicafan..

Pastrana hasnt raced any of the higher NASCAR series. Allgaier is a known quantity.

Chevy finally got allgaier back they are probably gonna try to hold him....i hope:)

Why would Vickers have to move??

I think they are going to sign a big time driver within the next year or so. Who are free agents after this season or the next?

Greg Biffle, Jeff Burton, Carl Edwards, Mark Martin, Ryan Newman, Juan Pablo Montoya, and Brian Vickers are all free agents after this year.

I would think that Montoya or Edwards would be a good fit there, not so sure about the rest.

I thought there was talk of Martin going there???

I think I'd rather see him full time in the BUSCH series

Here's what I think:
1. They resign Vickers.
2. Burton is too old for the RedBull image, not him
3. Jack isn't letting Edwards go anywhere and Edwards seems pretty loyal to Roush for giving him a shot in the first place. I could see RedBull throwing a lot of cash at him but not enough unless there is a fall out by the end of the season.
4. Martin.......see #2, plus Martin needs to retire or start drinking again.
5. Newman is staying with Tony unless SHR loses money
6. I could see them trying to get Pablo but Pablo is pretty loyal to Ganassi.
7. That leaves Biffle. He's 3rd in line at Roush and never really seemed to get to his full potential. Maybe a change of scenery would do him so good.
8. Kahne does well this season and RedBull buys his contract from Hendrick.

I don't think RedBull is going to go the rookie rout again. Dietrich Mateschitz can be very impatient when it comes to drivers and can't be happy seeing his team being so mediocre.

Since Mark is out of HMS next year maybe a move to a 3rd SHR car? Mark and Tony seem to have a good relationship and it's clear a 3rd car is coming sooner or later.

I could see Mark Martin maybe running one season or running Nationwide full time.

Cole Whitt's looking destined for that #4 car.

Kasey Kahne's doing exactly what I expected him to do: Nothing.

He's an overrated driver, and I hope Hendrick enjoys not seeing the #5 car in the Chase... which I think he does since he tore Mark Martin and Jeff Gordon's teams apart a couple years ago (after they finished 2nd and 3rd) and sent the best guys to Junyer... turned three successful teams and one unsuccessful team piloted by a ****ty driver in to three unsuccessful teams and Jimmie Johnson.

A certain person has a very wide view of what constitutes nothing. Take out a crash at Daytona and being Truex's brakes at Martinsville and ignore what ever the hell that was at Texas and he's right outside the chase.

Some B Vickers comments on his staying with Red Bull.....

“I haven’t made any decisions yet. I like Red Bull. I’ve enjoyed my time there as a Red Bull brand. I think I fit the brand and the brand fits me. There’s no doubt about that. It is a high energy, be yourself, love life, extreme athlete, extreme sport kind of brand. And they allow me to do the things that I love to do and that is great,” said Vickers in a phone interview with News/Talk WSB today.

“Most importantly, we’ve got to win races and I think that is what we both want. And hopefully we can both figure that out together and I can finish my career out at Red Bull. If we can’t, then there’s other options on the table and maybe we’ll look at those. For right now, I’m committed to Red Bull and to this season and that’s where my focus is as of right now.”

A possible factor in Vickers’ decision may be who Red Bull Racing picks as his teammate next season.

“Obviously, Kasey [Kahne] is going to be gone next season and we’re going to have to fill that car. It’s definitely going to be an interesting year for Red Bull Racing.”

That won't happen a one car team just doesn't work these days. Red Bull has a lot of cash, they will lure in a high profile driver, that is their style.

I guess I dont see any of the free agents going there. A young driver like Allgaier? Then maybe.

Greg Biffle, Jeff Burton, Carl Edwards, Mark Martin, Ryan Newman, Juan Pablo Montoya, and Brian Vickers are all free agents after this year.

Drop Greg Biffle from your list.....

Greg Biffle has agreed to a contract extension with Roush Fenway Racing. An official announcement of Biffle's extension could come as early as this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway, sources said. As recently as April 1, Biffle said he was "90 percent sure" he would re-sign with Roush and hoped to have a new deal completed by midseason. A team spokesperson on Wednesday said she could not confirm Biffle had agreed to an extension

I've always thought Martin would move out of the 5 car, this makes since now. Now this would leave the 5 car open for Danica to take over, it already has her Go-Daddy paint scheme.

Besides the fact Kahne has been signed to that ride since last spring:rolleyes:
