man, the yanks suck tonight. I sure hope that moose losing this start is gonna be a sign, since he lost the first game against minnesota...

Still 5-2 in the top of the 8th. Yankees could be making a comeback.
 
Red Sox win 5- 2; now lead series 1-0 over New York Yankees
 
The Yankees are 6-1 in series in which they lost the first game under Joe Torre. <_<

Let's hope that trend does not continue. To me the playoffs don't get really fun until the Evil Empire is knocked out. :)
 
If the Red Sox win tonight the Yanks have to face Pedro on saturday, they will be sitting pretty with another win tonight. Good sign that Manny went 4-5,i'm going out on a limb here and picking the Red Sox to win in 6. Been a fan since i was old enough to understand baseball, remember the '67 series and i sat in the the last row of the bleachers for game 7 of the '75 series. Just hope the dang "curse" will end this year, sick of hearing it from my sister the only Yankee fan in the family. :lol: :cheers: GO SOX
 
If the Sox win tonight, I honestly think they'll have the series all but won, because winning the 1st two games in Yankee Stadium, without Pedro pitching in either one, would be absolutely huge. I'm ready for another win. :D

Last night's game was disappointing, but I'm not pushing the panic button, especially with Pedro going on Saturday.
