I notice that Ms. Norfleet's picture has now been removed from the Reddit page.
Yep, and the person who made the mistake apologized.
That person was just a common redditor right? I sure hope it wasn't someone on NASCAR's end.
I think he was a mod of the subreddit, so no affiliation with NASCAR itself. Anyone can create a subreddit on Reddit and name it whatever they want.
True, but you'd hope that someone moderating the Nascar subreddit would have a little knowledge of the situation. It was almost as if they pulled up an wikipedia article on African American stock car drivers.
Thanks. I have access to Google.

I thought it was an obvious rhetorical question.
...and an idiot will always reply.Ask a stupid question...
What about Willy T. Ribbs?
I think he did better in Trans Am.Loved Willy T. Ribbs when he was in IndyCar.

In March 2013, a New York Times article reported that there were numerous inconsistencies in Norfleet's self-promotion efforts. They observe that she has only raced in one low level event, where she ran one lap before parking her car. She also has several criminal offenses on her record, and according to public records is actually 26 years old, not 24 as she has claimed; in addition, the NASCAR license that she has received, which she claimed was the first to be received by an African-American woman, is a kind that any driver who wishes to acquire is able to purchase. Suggesting that she is making an effort to subvert the sport's development process, NASCAR's vice president for public affairs has said, “I am uncomfortable with Tia representing herself in the way that she has.”Tia certainly is an attractive young lady, I wonder if she can drive ??
