Too funny 97Forever !!!!! I haven't laughed as hard at a joke as I did at this list. Especially item # 15. That was the best.


Back about 1974 or so, a lady of Oriental decent came into my business and ordered an item. When the time came to pay for it, a lad who was being trained in the business and had been employed by us for nearly one year was working behind the counter.

The lady reached into her pocketbook and asked, in a very heavily accented Japanese, "you take check?"

Leon said "yes".

The lady got out her check book, and asked, "how I make check out?"

Leon replied, "to the H'town Glass Company".

The lady then asked, "I spell H'town okay but how you spell grass?"

Leon answered, "G-R-A-S-S".

Maybe it ws a situation where you just had to be there, but as soon as saw question #15, I thought of this situation. I showed it to my wife and the first words out of her mouth were, "sounds like Leon and the Japanese lady".
