Anyone hear about the allegations of Reggie making over three hundred grand while still playing football at USC? I just heard about these allegations today. I think that the NCAA is going to investigate and if it's true, there could be some really bad things happen to USC. My question is did the coach know what was going on. I understand that for Reggie's first two years at school, he drove a really rough pickup truck, but during his junior year, he showed up one day with a tricked out Monte Carlo, said to be worth at least forty grand. That would be pretty hard to not notice. It could mean that USC would have to forfiet it's games he played when he was a senior. Could also include the championship game they won playing OU. And, what about the Heisman Trophy? I'll be watching the news on this one.

Yeah, I have read about the allegations. If true, it shows just how dumb some individuals are.

This has been ongoing for a long time now. If the NCAA does anything, it will shock me. After all, it is the greatest college football player ever, from the greatest team ever, right ??? USC & players are exempt from rules violations.

Add Notre Dame to the list too...

Bush's parents were set up in a nice, big house also. If I remember correctly, a sports agent, which are a big no-no when it comes to college football, set them up.

But CypressTrout is right....nothing will ever happen. Some schools get hammered by the NCAA and others slide right by...

I just read more about this. Seems that the NCAA is not going to do anything until the legal issue is resolved. That issue is that a man named Lake, who befriended Bush even before high school, is sueing Bush, his mother and step-father for $291,000 in what he says is a renege of a business deal he had with them. This will probably take a long time to be resolved, but I'm sure those USC fans as well as the school and coaches are going to bite their fingernails during the process.
