Remember: Watch for deers.

Prolly winged him pretty good.
My buddy in Wisconsin hit a deer while riding his Harley, it damn near killed him. He's lucky to be alive.

This time of year I watch for deer most every day, behind a 30-06. :D

I love my 30.06
Used to be my dad's. Sporterized 1918 Mauser, w/one-piece Mesquite stock and floating barrel. I've never popped deer wiffit but when my brother was a guide in Rifle, CO, this was one of his favorite weapons for Elk. (He's really my cousin but his father died from Alport's syndrome when he was only a year old, my father raised him.)

Wouldn't shoot any other caliber.

Not a round you want to go out with and plink all day. I've gone out and fired a few rounds and returned with a bruised shoulder.
That's why Clyde Barrow liked the B.A.R. :D

I bet that cop was glad he had the bull bar...apparently deer aren't aware of flashing red and blue lights mean.
