Well, the IndyCar Series takes to Edmonton City Centre Airport this weekend. Should be a very interesting race. 19 of the drivers entered in this race have not raced there so there will be some quick lessons for them. This track is a 1.96 mile, 14 turn circuit. Its very wide and fast. However, the surface is rough and hard on tires. I look for the former champcar teams to do fairly well.

The race is this saturday night, July 26th at 5pm Eastern on ESPN.

Well, here are the results of today's practice at Edmonton. My girl didnt have a good practice but there is always tomorrow. Oh, and no Milka there.
And Helio and Scott Dixon showing thier skills on these circuits and look at Briscoe again.

Its a paint scheme for the energy drink...Frank's.

Well, I just watched this race on my DVR. I was down at the Speedway for The Brickyard 400 qualifications.

I must give a kudos out to Scott Dixon. 5 wins this year. He is definitely on a roll.

Unless something drastic happens, I dont think anyone will catch him and I believe he will win the Championship.

I cant believe Marco striking Danica and knocking her out of the race practically. She was running solid all race. I was hoping for the yellow to come out when she was stalled, therefore she wouldnt of lost that track position. Im not sure why it wasnt.

I am shocked Paul Tracy did as well as he did. I never imagined him finishing ahead of the drivers he did, including Danica. Good run for him.

Here are the final results..

1. #9 Scott Dixon / Target Chip Ganassi Racing
2. #3 Helio Castroneves / Team Penske
3. #02 Justin Wilson / Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing
4. #22 Paul Tracy / Vision Racing

Yeah I saw that. He definitely wasnt happy at all.

She was told to move over and let her teammates by on several occasions throughout the race. Marco has made some real bonehead moves this season but this time I think it was justified--too bad he wasn't driving a car with bumpers. He was tired of waiting for her, he and TK were faster. If I was TK I would have taking her out earlier in the race when she refused to let him by--he was faster and on a different pit strategy! I am a big AGR fan, and I love to see Danica do well, but her lack of teamwork this season is causing me to lose respect for her.

I'm not at all surprised. I think drivers and fans that really knew him felt he had a shot at winning. The only think I'm surprised with is he was racing for Vision Racing. PT practically declared war with Tony George after he was robbed of his 500 win in 2002. I guess you do what you have to to get back in an Indy Car

Really mad at myself for not setting my dvr before i went out, I knew the race wa son. Looks like PT had a good run, good deal.
