anyone have info for richmond campsites, i emailed the track about it and they said they were booked, im lookin for a site thats at the track, any one have any info?

Hi,
What type of camping will you be doing? (RV or Tent?)
The reason I ask is, alot of the homes that surround the race track have tons of RV parking.
We have had the most luck finding spots in the turn 3 & 4 area, but I know there are some across the street on the front straight.
Come to think of it, I seem to remember some tents and such around us last year.
I don't think you will have a problem finding room as long as you are there by early Friday. (Notice I said early, as the spots start to go quickly begining Thursday night.)
There is a long waiting list (2yrs last I checked) for the spots that are actually on speedway property.
Great track and great racing, you won't be disapointed.

just using a tent, so all you do is drive down there and find someone that is allowing people to camp on their property

If you are just using a tent, you should have no problem finding somewhere to camp.
