Some of my buddies and I decided to go to the race next weekend last minute. There are a million seats available from the track still but they have jacked up the rates because it is race week.

Anyone have any experience with scalpers down there? Or any other recommendations for reasonably priced tickets?

How much is jacking up prices to u?
 
They are $20-40 more than they were last week with plenty of inventory remaining.

There are almost for sure going to be seats available on race day, I'd say take the gamble with scalpers.(it is always a gamble..) Worst case-buy at the box office on raceday.
