Ricky Craven is hanging in the top-10 in points. And he's heading back to a track where he runs well. Nice to a see a single-car team up front.

Cal Wells has his act together, to say the least. I'm looking forward to him adding a second car in the future - it will be interesting to see which driver he chooses to drive for him.
 
They are doign great I am happy to see ricky up there with the big dogs. The switch to Pontaic might be the shot in the arm they needed to be a constant threat

how much more money are they getting from pontiac than they were from ford?
 
I am not sure? I just know that pontaic is putting alot of effort into all the Pontaic teams this year. If any team is the factory team I think it is MBV/2 since they help devlope the car with Gibbs
 
I like Ricky too but, the statement he made about how rediculous it is how the teammates help each other shows he has a short memory. I recall in 97 how Jeffy, Terry and Craven teamed up on Bill Elliott at the end of the Daytona 500. I am happy for him though, he seems like he's just thrilled to be out there. He doesn't take anything for granted anymore.
 
Even I'm surprised at how well Ricky has done this year. A lot of changes were made to the program over the offseason, and yet he's come out of the box strong. I think he's a lot better with Pontiac than Ford, because Pontiac likely gives that team a lot of factory support. He's also been running well at tracks that he is historically poor at, such as Darlington and Talladega. Hopefully, his performance will convince a sponsor to come on for a good second team, and make the organization even stronger.
