Very interesting. You wonder if daddy gave him a job or he just was tired of it. Maybe Ricky just didn't want to race in Cup and be under the scrutiny that he would be racing for his dad and that's how he got the ride.
 
Read the article at Nascar.com. He must have came to some kind of crossroad. Its probably a good decision if his hearts not in it.
 
He must of known the arca driver that got killed, Eric Martin and Blaise Alexander. I think he did start out in Arca last year or the year befor that.
 
I'm sorry to see him leave. But, if he thinks it's the best thing for him, then that's what he needs to do. Yesterday's tragedy and his own injury probably helped to make the decision.

Ciggie, a very good point about the constant scrutiny he would be under. Maybe he decided he just didn't want the hassle.
