Glad he made it to age 82 with all the problems he had. He and the Beach Boys have given me years of pleasure listening to their music. I will continue to enjoy the music and think of him and what he has done as a genius to the music world.

Huh. I was caterwauling 'Sloop John B' along with him just this morning. Brian and the group's influence on popular music is infinite.
As a younger guy, the first thing I thought of when I heard this sad news was the Beach Boys' appearances on Full House. I was never into them like that, but I was super into that show, and looking back on their cameos there brings back positive memories.
