Saw the news this morning when I got up. He was one of those broadcasters that was identifiable as soon as he uttered his first syllable of a broadcast. Few are like that and most of those are the greats in sports broadcasting. He was most certainly one of them. RIP Dick Enberg.

In addition to sportscasting, Enberg also hosted several game shows in the 60's and 70's. Here's Enberg, wearing one of the worst suits you'll ever see, hosting a 1973 game show called Baffle.

I am almost feel like I grew up with him with all the sports I have watched.
The video of his "Oh my" when Ali was shakily lighting the 1996 Olympic torch in Atl. still gives me goose bumps.
RIP Dick, just fabulous at what you did.
