That's a real shame. I've never gotten into Sabbath like that, but the influence they've had and will continue to have on so many artists and bands, including many that I've enjoyed over the years, like Blues Pills, is undeniable and absolutely worthy of respect.

Thank you for your unmeasurably vast contribution to music, especially to the music that I love, Ozzy. Rest easy. 🤘

The story that Sarzo told about when Randy Rhodes was killed…he found Ozzy sobbing in a church…
“I’m in the very last row of the church, just trying to find some peace of mind and some answers. And I keep hearing somebody in the front really in pain — more pain than me, because I was in shock. Of course I was in pain, but I was too shocked to really feel pain. I was numb. And this person was like, moaning and groaning, really in touch with their emotions. I had no idea who it was, and it got to a moment that I said, ‘I gotta look.’ And then I realized it was Ozzy — in the same church with me, going through this painful experience...”
- Rudy Sarzo

Ozzy was a legend and an icon. Along with James Hetfield, I'd say they are the two greatest frontmen in history.

Not everyone knows it, but Black Sabbath didn't only invent metal. They also invented Christian Metal with this song :headbang:
