With the price of gasoline these days, you might need to rob a bank or two to afford a fill-up.

But you shouldn't wait too long to buy the gasoline. Just ask an Orlando man arrested Tuesday.

Deputy Tim Robinson of the Orange County Sheriff's Office saw a man park his pickup truck on the shoulder of Eden Park Road in Seminole County and put on his flashers after he ran out of gas Tuesday afternoon. The deputy realized the truck fit the description of the getaway vehicle in a bank robbery minutes earlier and took the driver into custody.

Kevin Lee Cotterman, 37, faces two counts of robbery without a weapon. He is free on $4,900 bail from the Seminole County Jail.

Cotterman is accused of entering the Bank of America at 2601 W. State Road 434, near Longwood, about 3:40 p.m. and passing a note to a teller demanding an envelope filled with $100 and $50 bills. He fled with $4,300, but several people got a good look at the white Dodge truck he left in, including the Dale Earnhardt Jr. "8" in the rear window and the license plate number.Cotterman is also accused of a similar robbery Sept. 3 at the Bank of America at 555 S. Hunt Club Blvd., Forest City. - orlandosentinel.com

Actually it appears after reading the story the sticker was a part of, not because of. They had the make, color , and plate number.

mmmmmmm, guess I'd better take my #3 and #88 stickers off before I do anything. hehehe

I don't know that the #3 balances the bad karma the #88 brings you. I'd have to opt for neither if I felt a need for the #88... :D

Actually when Dale died I took the plates off, never did do the bumper stickers, and packed away his stuff we had. My wife still uses the backpack but that's the only thing that'd let anyone know we ever pulled for him.
