I guess NASCAR was making up for last week by not penalizing him this time when he actually did wreck someone.

How weak is NASCAR for not penalizing this idiot. He should be rubbed out for a couple of weeks for what he did during todays race. What a moron. Great quote from LOGANO "You can't fix stupid" when referring to Gordon.

I kinda agree with Robby. Besides, Logano is simply crying like the kid he is. There will always be 'payback" in Nascar and, yes, Robby probably pays back more than others but he is not entirely at fault.

The 19-year-old Logano, who eventually spun and hit the wall to finish 33rd, voiced his displeasure afterward with Gordon.

“He decided to wreck me under caution, which is not real cool, I think,” said the Joe Gibbs Racing driver. “It’s a pretty raw deal to race someone pretty stupid. You can’t fix stupid. It’s forever. … I got caught with an idiot.”

Gordon’s response?

“Whatever,” said the veteran driver/owner. “I’m not too worried about what Joey Logano thinks to be honest with you. The second time [when he wrecked] he got into somebody else. I don’t think he passed anybody without running into them first. That’s what he did to me. So it is what it is. He’s not going to run into me and think he’s going to go on by because he knocked me sideways. That’s just not the way it goes.”
It is unlikely Gordon and Logano will forget the incident soon.

“He cut down my left-front tire earlier and we got into a grudge match after that,” Logano said. “It was back-and-forth and back-and-forth into each other. Eventually a caution came out and he put me into the fence and my car went up in flames.

“That was real nice. You remember that stuff. Eventually it’s going to turn around and bite him because he races everyone the same way just like that. I don’t know if this is the one place he thinks he can run good so he beat the hell out of everybody. You just remember that. Eventually everyone is going to start doing that back to him. What goes around comes around.”

Gordon said Logano hit him first to start the exchange.

“He hit me first, so it all started with him making contact with my back bumper in Turn 11,” Gordon said. “That’s where it all started. If he can learn to pass me clean, I’m cool with it. But if he’s going to run into me, he’s going to get hit back. It’s just plain and simple.”

Neither driver competes in the Nationwide series full time. It was Gordon’s first start of the season in the series as he hoped to score a win on a road course where he has won in the Cup series.

Gordon had a long day after starting third. He got hit from behind and then into the back of Greg Biffle, who then spun Gordon. Even with front-end damage to his car – and even after heavy cosmetic damage after the tire issue that followed the first Logano incident – Gordon was running fast lap times. He had to settle for 14th.

“Until Logano got into me and got flat tires for both of us, we were hanging in there in eighth place,” Gordon said. “I got really, really aero tight with the hood being [bowed] up [from damage] like it was. All in all, we had a decent day.”

He is still an idiot. Joey did nothing wrong. I hope if Joey gets the chance he runs him off the track today.
If Joey is smart he won't mess with Robby anymore. Perhaps though he is like Kyle and doesn't learn. kyle's chop blocking of Tony may have cost kyle a shot of getting in the chase, just not smart driving.

Just admit it, you don't like the Joe Gibbs drivers.

Joey Logano didn't do anything to Robby. That was totally unprovoked. First, Robby tried to put Joey in the wall on the main straightaway. Then Robby drove in to him in turn one cutting both their tires. Robby made a mistake and, instead of manning up and realizing HE screwed up, he took it out on Logano and intentionally wrecked him. Joey did nothing wrong, that was all Robby Gordon.

Disclaimer: I'm not a fan of either.

Joey can't be intimitated by Robby Gordon, if Gordon hits him he has to come back and hit him twice as hard.

Gordon doesn't make many friends on the track, he's sort of like Jimmy Spencer but without the skill, tact and common sense Jimmy has (had:rolleyes:).

Gordon can't compete in a race of atrition, he'll be in the soup line while Lagano still has new equipment waiting.

Jeez SST55, I spilled my coffee.

They showed the entire sequence of events from multiple angles yesterday...Logano wasnt the instigator. In fact, it was impossible to pinpoint exactly what Logano did wrong any time Gordon took him out.

Robby has more talent then Jimmy has ever dreamed of having. Ive been looking for a video of this wreck, but can not find one. JUst the aftermath of the deal. Lagano came up on Robby and cut Robbys tire, but thats all ive seen. I do not care for Joey. Lets see how he does in a year or so. I dont think he will be "sliced bread" for much longer.

Joey moved up and cut Robby's tire?

What video are you watching???

Anyone watch Nascar Now this Morning?
Randy LaJoie was co host and he said and I quote.

Robbie come up here with some money, 2 cup cars and a Nationwide car. There's 2 things money cant buy and that is Patience's and smarts.

I agree about Robby.

Normally I stand-up for him because he doesn't take **** from anyone. But this time he went way too far. He's lucky Logano wasn't hurt. NASCAR was stupid for not penalizing him. At the very least he should have parked for the rest of the race.

Last week seemed no one cared that 12 spun Robby across the track and put Robby and other drivers at risk. But this week yall are ready to hang Robby. As I've said not seen a video so I can't judge.

You want to go back and check that statement there Lappy:rolleyes:

That's because NASCAR actually did something, and parked them for 5 laps. This time, nothing was done, and the wreak was much worse. Plus it was under caution.

Of course, they might do something official today. When issuing penalties post-race, NASCAR will often wait until Monday to do so. Robby might have probation, suspension, a fine, or all of the above coming his way.

I can understand Robby being upset at Joey for something. We'll never know exactly what happened because of ESPN's crappy cameras, but pretty much everyone agrees he went too far.

Banging on Joey's car is fine by me, but Robby was wrong to launch him into the tire barrier at one of the fastest part of of the track.
