Hey any and all #7 fans, Robby managed to complete his first race today for the 2005 season. I know he even managed a top 20, but the quote "to finish first, you must first finish" never held truer. So congratulations to Robby on his first little victory as a team owner!!!!!!!!

Yup, had my fingers crossed the engine wouldn't take an early departure. Hopefully this is the turn around point. ;)

Why is Robby wasting his money on those crappy menard engines? They aren't even quality engines for the truck series. I wish he could get a deal with RCR or someother decent chevy engine builder.

It was nice to see him have some success on Sunday, He is a tremendous talent.

He was originally going with RCR engines, but changed his mind and went with Menard. I would dare say that $$$$$ was probably a big part of the decision. BUT, that's just an educated guess. ;)

well, i think he's big buddies with Menard, so maybe they looked at it as a joint venture, a way for him to break into a Cup Engine program and a way for Robby to break into the owner/driver role...more independent like instead of being beholden to RCR his whole NNC career

He had a Menard motor in the car when he won that Busch race last year right? I know the motors are differnt but just an idea to put out in the open.
