Wow, You really can tell that we have people from all over the country here....I have been to so many rodeos here that they really aren't all that interesting anymore. (you can only watch gals ride around barrels so many times... :) It should be fun if ya don't go all that often. Saddle Bronc, bareback, and Bull riding are the most exciting events by far, but team roping and steer wrestling are pretty cool too. David Ball puts on a pretty good show. Have fun Zekk!!

We have some good rodeos down here. The best is the La. State Prison rodeo in Angola. Every Sun. in Oct. I didn't get to go this year, the weather was bad all weekends.:(

double fun day for you tomorow............have a great time....:calpping: :calpping: :dazzler:

Have to agree with you mlite. I have worked so many rodeos, that I could probably run one in my sleep. At the time my son was 2 yrs old (he's now 14), and we found him in the round pin with the bulls for the bull riding event. Scared the bejesus out of me. He was fine, and the show went on. Knew several of the world champs, Tuff Hedeman, Tye Murray, Jim Sharpe, and many more. Agree with the barrel racing. But a good friend of mine was the world champ for "several" years. (Charmayne James - wonderful person).:D

Lived in Wyo for a few years.....Cowboy Days was the big deal in Evanston.....final score from the rodeos I attended there and in other places is about Bulls 135, Cowboys 0 with one dead and more than a few sent to the hospital.

Here in Vegas, a small joint called The Roadhouse on The over the shoulder Boulder holder Highway near Sam Boyd Stadium has Saturday Night Bullriding events. Watching folks go to slaughter has never been my idea of fun so I've not gone but in driving by, sometimes it looks like there are quite a few folks in the stands.

We also get the Finals here but haven't gone.
