Did you all lay down and quit having fun around here,or what? Check in and have some laughs. :D I see a lot of new faces,and I welcome you to my dry, sometimes crazy humor. :p I don't bite,and have never had any serious skin conditions,so speak up,and be heard. :p And if I should get out of control.That Texas Race Lady will send my to a box of crayons. :D
 
im here i just have been trying to get tobacco growing buttoo much damn rain this year. You almost never hear a farmer talk about too much rain do you??
 
Ain't that the damn truth? My uncle said it always happens this way,but I get by some how. He said what the winter freeze did to the bugs the rain will undo. ^_^
 
naw the past 10 years it seems we either had too many hurricanes or not enought rain, now we havent had a week in 4 months that has not had 4 days of sun(or no rain)
 
I am here! Spent the evenign at the softball diamond again!!

IT WAS HORRIBLE!!! About 53 degrees, Rainy, and windy! Plus it was the first game where the girls pitched and not the machine! Lets just say almost every run was bc of batters gettign walked! My sisters team was in first place after last game which they won by 8 runs. They played the same team tonight which is last and they lost 16 to 9! It took 2.5 hours to play 3 innings. Then they called it bc of a time limit! I am still not 100% dry, and my hands are still cold!
IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!
 
I was at the softball park last night myself. I have three girls playing softball on three different teams and I am on the Board of Directors. I coach a 10 and under team and my wife coaches a T-ball team. I go to six games a week in four days ( no games on Wednesdays ). Last night was a rare occasion that my daughters had no ballgames, but wouldn't you know it, it was my night for board duty. Got there at 5:30 left around 10:30. But, I love it, and wouldn't miss it for the world. :D
 
I've coached and or played softball for quite a few years now. This is the first year I haven't played in a very long time. I really thought I would miss it more, but I really don't for the most part. The constant worrying about rain and how/when I was going to reschedule the game. When we should call the game or just play through it. Is anyone going to get killed by lightning if we don't call tonight's game? That kind of stuff got real old as a coach. I still miss playing a little, but my busy schedule and my aching back have made me more resigned to my fleeting youth getting fleetier. <_<
 
The hubby and I have been cutting down trees and planting new ones that last two days. I could hardly get out of bed this AM.

We have all oak trees. I wanted some variety, so I planted sycamore and cypress. Want to plant mimosa, but can't find any at the nursery.

I'm here, but stiff and sore.

Ward22 said that he would be gone for (I think) a week and a half. I think he said he has to go to a few weddings.

If I was gone that long, i'd have to get a wifi card for my notebook, and sniff out open internet connections. :eek:
 
This place does get addictive. :)

Paul is working a lot more apparently.Strids took flight and left a while back.HS????Who knows.

And our thread games buddy ward22 is on vacation!Only that straight arrow ward22 would actually attend weddings in june! :p

On the plus side that wild and crazy pbunch is back! :)

(And I'm sorry guys,you get used to seeing the same folks everyday,then they just vanish.I am just a natural born worrier I guess.)

Thats the truth. I have been here less than a month and have 191 posts. I post every time I can, Good thing I'm not working yet!
 
How are ya doing on that front Buck?Progressing pretty good?You fell a long way right?I remember you told us that.

Man Bucky that is a wonderful story gald you shared that with us! You are one lucky guy! Is that pain still there that the docs said may never go away?
