Happy Friday, folks! Here's to hoping that everyone makes it thru today and on to a wonderful weekend! Two days of rest, relaxation and most of all NO WORK! Well, at least for some of you. I have lots to work on this weekend, my house! I am in the midst of doing a little remodeling. Repainting a bedroom vacated when the kiddo moved out, which is to become an office/guest bedroom/Nascar collection room. After that is completed (hopefully this weekend) then the hardwood floor installation begins.

We might have some rain tonight and tomorrow, but Sunday should be sunny and almost 70*! ;)
 
Maj, my kitchen has been gutted for the last 3 months due to a water leak. With me getting off the road in mid November, I finally had time to get to work and plan out the renovation. Everything is finally coming together. We decided to remodel the whole kitchen. The only items not being replaced are the fridge and the dishwasher because they are fairly new.

I removed a brick venier and paneling off the wall and patched and painted the walls and ceiling. The ceramic tile floor is being installed as I speak. The elctrician comes in Sunday to add some outlets and lights and get everything up to code (the house is 24 years old).

Got to work next week but then the following week the new cabinets will be installed, I'll take delivery of the new convection oven stove and install the microwave over the stove. Also decided to get a new sink. Then, everything has to be washed before putting back into the cabinets.

Lots of work but it should be an enjoyable kitchen once again. The wife is going to love it!

And I will be so happy not to have to eat out 2 times a day. :lol:
 
Boy, Guido! Sounds like you will have a fabulous kitchen when completed!

What I mentioned above is just the beginning of what is to come. My sister has this crazy idea that she is going to redo the entire inside of my house, except for the appliances in the kitchen. Most of that is new anyhow. (My house is right at 26 years old.) She's paying for it so, I plan on letting her do it! I'm not that crazy, you know! It's gonna be pretty cool when she gets done with it. I have alot of work to do before she can even begin, but it will be well worth it in the end!!! :)

will spend the weekend workin on the cabin in the Mts. hope to have it ready to move in by june or july !!!!
 
I'll be gone for a weekend of whisky, dominoes, good food and duck hunting. I'll be back Sunday, hope everyone has a great weekend. :cheers: :cheers:

It is currently snowing like crazy here. The temp is 16 ans with the wind chill it goes down to 6. Would anyone like to come and help me shovel? I'll provide the beer and pizza!!
 
I got through Friday but the plant that I work at runs 6 days a week. So I don't gett much of a weekend. :(
 
I'd love to nw, but as you can see from above, I have lots to do. I'll try to send some of our little heat wave up your direction! It's supposed to get up to about 70* by Sunday! :wacko:

I made it! After working outside in this 15-25 dergree weather and winds upto 30 moh i think I am staying inside this weekend
 
Saturday I'll be over at one of my bowling teammate's place. They'll all be ice fishing on Lake Okauchee & I'll just be freezing my butt off, drinking Miller Lite & eating deep fried turkey.

Sunday, heading for the BC to watch some Milwaukee Admirals hockey!!!
