I'm here!:) Waiting to see if the weather man is really going to be right this time........for the first time since mid April they are predicting a significant rain fall!:calpping: Of course significant here is anything over 1/4 inch........but I take anything we can get. Awfully dry and dusty here!:)

Where you been anyway pbunch? :(
 
Man today isn't very good. We got a hotel fire in Baks where a firefighter is missing:( , another fire in a department store and some kids just rolled there car on the way to Baks. First rain of the season and it isn't going to smooth. Plus there are people spinning out everywhere.

Strange phenomenon here in this state.....it rains and people actually speed up on the freeways and streets. It's like: "Oh my God, it's raining! Got to hurry and get out of it before my car gets wet!"

I know. I was going 65-70 on the highway and when it started raining, I was being run all over by cars and by trucks too.

So true DEW, but just wait 'til you see the GA rednecks on bald tires in the rain or ice and snow! Then they cuss you out after they run into the ditch or whatever is in front of them :(

That phenomenon is not restricted to either the South or Rednecks. In the years I lived in colder climes I have seen some of the most baffling exhibitions of car control imaginable.

HS, I lived in New England 'til '94 and have seen most of the worst.

I'd rather drive in NYC than Atlanta :(
