Well, has he lost it or is his team just off this year? He's my favorite driver in the truck series and it sucks to see him doing so bad. I know he has a win this year but his other races have been far less impressive. Gotta wonder if this might be his last year in the #33.

Yeah I don't know what's going on.

He's racing a late model at my local bullring on the 23rd!

Hornaday will probably end up next year without a ride just like Bodine did this year the sponsors want to sponsor the young up-comers not a going on 50 year old. I loved that someone gave Bodine a ride last night and he brought it home 10th without a scratch on it, may could of been a top 5 if they had taken on some tires the last pit stop. I guess the sponsors don't think people over 40 buy anything.

50 is a long way from 40 in racing. no comment on whether the over 40 crowd buy anything but their wins see a sharp decline with age. their are exceptions but not many. when the wins fall off, so does the sponsorship.

As whacy as he comes off some tines, Jimmy Spencer had a good point on Friday's show. He showed several instances this year where Hornaday simply ran into other trucks on the track as though he simply didn't see them. Maybe he's having trouble with depth perception?
As far as the age issue, take notice of how many pickup manufacturers feature 40+ spokesmen in their ads..
