ROTY so far?

It is definetely Jamie so far this year!! :D I thought that the race for Rookie Of The Year would of started out a little bit better, but things will change later in the year.

Well there has already been a pass for the lead in the ROTY race, Biffle held the spot after Daytona and now Jamie will have it. This I expect will go on all season long. Too bad that Sprague can't keep his nose clean long enough to give it a serious shot.

So far---and it hurts to say this :) ----Jamie looks better than I expected.

I hope Roush hasn't repainted Chad's old cars again.Biffle has paid every due you can pay.

I'm starting to follow McMurray, he always seems like he is having a fun time during his interview's. Jaime looked more impressive than Biffle in 2 races, but it is waaaaay to early to tell who is going to be ROTY.

If I have to guess I would say Jamie. But the season just started.

its a little too early if you ask me to be asking this

Yes, It is still too early but It is something to think about.

many peopel thought Jamie would just flop this year but i didn't and he is doing great and will take Biffle for a run for ROTY!

I say Biffle.. i think what happened to Johnson and Newman will happen to Biffle and McMurray

I am not sure yet who will win the ROTY, but I don't think Jammie or Biffle will have no where near as good of a season as Newman and Johnson did last year, they might not have that bad of a season but not that good.

I agree what happened last year was exceptional as far as the ROTY chase. I think in the end that Jamie will prevail , but it will probably come down to the last few races....really too early to tell though!

I thought last season that Biffle had the best shot at it. I also thought that Sprague would figure into the deal before the season played out.

At this point I can't give a real edge to anyone. Early last season many figured JJ had it locked up and we all know how that turned out.

Biffle and McMurray with their experience and the teams behind them are the front runners. Jack has the 'sperience, though he has a history of trouble, but the team likely does not match up to the other two.

I am impressed with McMurray, although a couple of races will not necessarily tell the story.

All though I'm pulling for Biffle (I've liked him since 1999...IMO he got shafted out of the title by Nascar), if Jamie won I'd be happy for him. He's a real nice kid. My daughter had her picture taken with him at the March of Dimes Benefit that I go to the Friday before the Milwaukee race. He was signing at his t-shirt hauler at Chicagoland a few weeks later and nobody was in line. I told my brother we should go get something signed by him because I think he may be a pretty good driver in a few years. He had been running pretty good in Busch up to that point (this was before 'Chippy' signed him of course).
