Roush To Appeal Penalty Points
Roush Fenway Racing officials have appealed a portion of the penalty assessed Matt Kenseth's team during the Daytona 500 activities. Roush is appealing the 50-point penalty handed to the team after an aerodynamic violation was found following qualifying for the Daytona 500. Crew chief Robbie Reiser was also suspended for four weeks, but Roush did not appeal that portion of the penalty, and interim crew chief Chip Bolin will remain atop the pit box for the team in this weekend's Auto Club 500 activities.(scenedaily.com)
