Meanwhile, the National Football League has been so embarrassed by revelations that it accepted payment for military tributes that it plans to refund the money. I guess it is good that the NFL is getting out of the "paid patriotism" business.

Yeah it was a brutal, brutal war and those who fought and their families were treated like crap when they returned. Never shown the appreciation or respect they earned.
