I thought they had to have the splitter too. That whas what I was thinking when I saw them tear it off.

OOPS hope nobody stole that when they took it off. LOL

Glad to see him finally get nailed for something like that.

Yeah, they let him pull that crap with Harvick a few years back. He's also gone back and fourth with Tony and a couple other drivers.

And they call Matt a clean racecar driver.

Did you hear FOX *TRYING* to come up with some kind of explanation for Matt. :D

"The splitter was ruined" :XXROFL: Even they could tell. Once Darrell mentioned they were the previous caution, Mike and Larry knew.:D

Poor ole Mikey will get blamed! lol :D

Martinsville is known for this type of behavior. Some of the incidents that have happened in the past are still vivid in my memory. One such incident came from Ricky Rudd who was trying to give a pay back to, I believe it was, well I can't remember, but Ricky finally got behind his target and charged towards him going into turn three. Unfortunately for Ricky, his target made the corner, but Ricky didn't and wrecked himself. It was so clear to everyone what Ricky was trying to do and the announcers pretty much said that he had a right to pay backs. Another one came when Rusty Wallace was just tearing up the track, really stinking the race up in domineering style. He was having a hard time getting around Bobby Hamilton and finally punted him into the wall and went on. I was at the race and had Bobby's channel on the scanner waiting to see what he would say or do. It took a few laps for Rusty to finally come around and lap Bobby again coming out of turn four, and everyone was waiting for Bobby to get him there. He didn't, but did so going into turn one. Wanna talk about bad language on the scanner? LOL I think that everyone forgot about Bobby once he didn't do anything right when Rusty passed him, but hearing his "plans" on the scanner, I kept my eyes on him. Who says this isn't your Saturday night racing? You just won't see much of that at most of the tracks. Oh, and Rusty didn't win that race either.

Harvick/Hamilton - Martinsville 2001
Harvick/Rudd - Richmond 2001
Harvick/Rudd, part duex, Richmond 2003
Harvick/Biffle - Bristol 2002
Harvick/some idiot - Martinsville 2002

We see a trend developing here?

Remember the Bristol 2002 fall race? Man, EVERYBODY was mad at everyone. I have that on tape somewhere - there were like 5 on track gestures of congratulations and then Rusty was pissed about Gordon's famous bump and run.

And, I do remember Rusty/Hamilton. I think Rusty fell 4 or 5 laps down from the incident and came back to win it. Spring 1996, right?

No, it wasn't that race. I believe it was the April 2000 race. Mark Martin was the winner and Rusty sat on the pole. He was dominating the race and then Bobby did his thing. Rusty was making it back to the front, but several guys didn't pit near the end and Rusty did, putting him behind a lot of cars. He just never could make it back for the win.

2002 i believe was the Robby/micheal ordeal?

I remember watching a race and harvick and kenseth got into it under green. They came back from commercial and kenseth was sitting on the grass. He got going again then harvick was back on the grass. They went back and forth under caution. I want to say it was Indy one year but i dont think it was.

The harvick/rudd fight is still one of my favorites to watch on youtube lol

Pocono. Matt took a cheap shot on the backstretch and Kevin spun him coming to the caution.

The Harvick/Rudd fight was great. :D

I wish I had gone to that race. :XXROFL: You knew it was coming, I knew it was coming, TNT saw it coming. Harvick was going for the lead and Rudd just turned him. I knew right then that there was going to be a postrace ... well, uh ... "discussion."

One of my favorite squabble moments was the Earnhardt Sr/Rusty at Bristol where Rusty threw a water bottle at Dale.

i got the bristol race where SR turned labonte for the win on the dvd that came with 3. i watch that one quite a bit lol

go figure. NASCAR actually makes the right call and enforces a "racing rule" like a sanction body should, and all the writers think its some personal battle. When will we get the writers back that actually know what racing is?
