Rumor is Dale might have new sponser

It probably is just rumor, but you have to look at guys like DJ and Mikey - their sponsor wanted the driver, they didn't care what they drove or who they drove for.

Anyone else hear DW say VISA? They seem to think Bud still has contractual obligations at DEI but I am thinking I heard somewhere that is contingent on Dale Jr driving the #8 car for DEI.
 
Verrrry interesting. If Visa comes aboard it would open the door with Gibbs. Howewver, I find it difficult to believe that Budweiser would let Jr go elsewhere. Lets face it, Jr is a goldmine for whoever sponsors him.

Come on now, we all know it's NOT about the money :rolleyes:

Seriously though, I think KFC have sponsored DEJr in the Busch series and it seems as though they want to get involved in Nascar.

Every commercial that has anything to do with Nascar shows Earnhardt so they'd be better off to sponsor him and probably for less money.

Maybe even Wrangler???
 
KFC did recently pull out of the running for the BUSCH Series sponsorship, it's a possibility
