Nascar inspectors said late Thursday afternoon there was a "potential problem" with the carburator on the No. 2 Dodge that Rusty Wallace drove to a fourth-place finish in Thursday's second Gatorade 125.

the news is there is a template infraction on the carb. and a decision is supposedly to be announced 11:30 am to 12:00 noon/eastern timeframe today.
 
I wonder if there's anything wrong with any of those DEI cars? I doubt NASCAR will "find" anything though!

Looks like somebody might be going to the back on Sunday. Oh well, he can draft with Martin back there and get to the front in no time. It all comes down to pit stops anyway, that's where the real race is.
 
I wonder if Rusty will be the first driver with negative points going into the 500. He most likely will be starting from the back of the pack on Sunday.
 
haha. now that would be amusing. if Rusty can't win it, why not make history. hehe.

So far, this is not the start of the season that was looking for.
 
One would have a harder time predicting the result of a WWF match than they would these races down at Daytona.

Speed Channel just said that an announcement would be made about 5 PM today and to sign on to the speed.com site to see the results.

It could have a huge change if they dissallow his 125 result. Kyle would move up to the 15th place in the 125 and then to 30th place for the race. That would then mess with all the provisonals. and could very well casue a huge shake up in the starting grid. Do you think they would send at team back to Daytona and kncok out another team??????
This could be very interesting to see what happens!!!
