Oh how I'm dreading the ending of Fox's coverage of NASCAR, meaning that Rusty Wallace will be a voice to reckon with each and every race. Watching him these past couple of years with the IRL races, and then again today with the Indy 500, his voice just grates on me. I don't like the way he analyzes the races, and with the IRL series, he always has to put in his equivalent of stockcar racing. This is something that I always complained about when they would have open wheelers announcing stockcar races. Arrrrgh!

I have always been a huge fan of Rusty Wallace... the driver. I'm not as fond of the announcer. He's just not in the same league as B.P., Ned Jarrett, or Buddy Baker

I think Rusty is a HUGE improvement over BP, I could never stand listening to him, especially the last few years.

His brother Mike is a better announcer. He's just as knowledgable and has a better voice. And without the ego the booth seemed to work better. But I guess since he got a ride we won't see him in the booth for a while...
