rut roh

I doubt anything will be said. Isn't he entitled to his opinion, and doesn't he have the right to express that in public?

That's amazing, cause Ray Evenhamn read on Sirius radio a memorandum sent out by NASCAR to ALL teams back in March and it specifically laid out guide lines of the "Zero" tolorance areas, they also sent them CAD generated CDs of the whole body with exact measurements & allowable tolorances.

The problem many fans (and it appears crew chiefs too) is understanding the BODY, wings are "Zero" tolorance and there are NO grey areas to work in. Period.

OT but I was wondering, Ray also said the noses were a composite material and went part way back on the fenders,
NASCAR bought CASCAR last year and with that they purchased the composite body mfg'ing company that produced all the CASCAR cars. Last year I believe it was Bret Thompson? (#61 guy from Colorado) ran a total composite body and never had to replace it all year. I believe the GN Series are running the composite bodies this year, they're being mfg'd from that company.
I'm just wondering why they don't make all composite body panels for the Cup cars, then they couldn't be manipulated, and there would be no need for wind tunnels?

It’s like [Chad Knaus and Steve Letarte] — they didn’t know they were crossing it. They stepped out in the street and a bus hit ‘em. That ain’t right.”

Horse crap.
