Steve Wallace will have a teammate at Rusty Wallace Inc. next season. JONATHAN FERREY / GETTY IMAGESMADISON, Ill. - Rusty Wallace confirmed Friday that his Busch Series operation will expand to two cars next year.

Rusty Wallace Inc. currently fields the No. 66 Dodge for Steve Wallace, Rusty's youngest son.

"We're going to go to two teams next year," Rusty Wallace said at Gateway International Raceway. "I'm going to put Chase Austin, my young kid, in the non-companion races, and I'm going to put a veteran in for at least 20 [races]."

Homelife Communities, co-sponsor of RWI's No. 66, will be involved with both teams next year, Wallace said. The team is negotiating with other sponsors to complete the programs on both cars for 2008.
