Ryan Newman brushed the wall in the No. 12 Ford during the same practice, but the crew repaired the right-rear quarter panel.

Will this affect him come saturday night ???

Not quite sure what you mean by the "same practice". If you are referring to his brush with the wall during the first practice, the answer is obviously not since he qualified on the front row.

He also had a brush with Kyle during Happy Hour but still posted a 8th best time and there has been no talk of needing a backup. From that I would assume once again the answer is no.

I copyed that from the article about bill and jeff haveing to use there backup cars thats what I ment by same practice.
