This may not be the place for this I'm watching the ARCA race and John Wes Townley just took a hard hit to the inside wall of I think turn 4. About 100 or so feet from where he hit I noticed that there is no SAFER barrier and it is in a very similar spot to where Denny Hamlin hit at Auto Club. John Wes easily could have wrecked a bit sooner and hit that spot, he's lucky he hit where he did. I just can't really believe that after the things that have happened.. the proof that has been laid in front of everyone's faces that a car can and will hit ANYWHERE on the track should be enough to make every single track have SAFER barriers everywhere. I think at this point if a driver hits a wall with no SAFER barrier the track should be directly responsible for any medical bills that may ensue. When will NASCAR get a grip and just make every single place at every track have them?
