Not good start for Bobby, held up almost the entire inside row for a bit......

Ryan and Jeff seem to be having a good dice

Bill is strong early, if he stays fast he will be trouble for all the other teams today. This is his kind of track.

Bill says it went on the 3 to 4 shift, no overwind only turned 9150.

Tough break.

Newman and Kenseth are the strongest right this second.

Something is up with Matt's car, falling off considerable the last two laps

Matt is pretty much back up to speed, may have been ignition box.......

Sadler is gonna get caught if we stay green, Jeff is coming pretty strong

Marks is consistently 1 or 2 tneths faster than the leaders. Good onllong runs

Time for green flag stops.

Nicely done by the 38 team. Elliott has about 2 and 1/2 second lead.

1/2 way. Gotta be in it to win it. :bounce:

OOPS! Sadler not in it.

Pit road... Ward Burton spins.

Looks like Sadler's car just went on its own.........

Ward kinda messed that up it looks like........

Very interesting deal on the race to the yellow....looks like NASCAR will have to make a stand one way or the other.

Cannot make that one up as you go.

what a crock, They shouldn't have let those boys back on the lead lap, Just because Kennseth slows doesn't everyone has too. Gordon took the yellow at the line and should have been the leader, plain and simple. It's a gentlemen's agreement not a Nascar rule. Let's see Rousch is one of the biggest team owners in Nascar and pretty boy Busch is second in points? It would have been bad for ratings if they wouldn't have given him his lap back. "bleepin" Nascar!!

I had Sadler in yahoo league. I'm going to ask the teams to pay me NOT to pic their driver(s) in the Yahoo league. It causes them to wreck or blow up every week.

Congrats to Ryan and the AllTel team. Excellent run and the two tire call was very gutsy, worked out for them.

Good run for the Budweiser team, good racing between them and the 24 car.

Nadeau get a thumbs up, and Mark Martin comes from the 32nd stating postion to finish 5th and best in class. Big thumbs up to the 6 team.

With Ryan being my fav driver, I of course am very happy at the outcome, but the excitement was in the race for 2nd..... LOVE a fighting finish like that! WAY TO GO RYAN!!

:bounce:

That was a good race!! Congrats ryan first Dodge win of 2003!
It was awsome to see both MBV/2 cars up front towards the end, if JB did nto have that motor problem both the 01 and 10 would have had top 5's!! Congrats to Jerry and Johnny!!

I was impressed with Christian! He started out kinda slow but he started to work his way up before he lost it. They did not even mention how well he was running. He moved up slowly and when he spun he was in 21rst place. Not bad for only his 3rd Cup start in a car he only ran for about an hour before the race!! If he would have ran to the finish i think he would have stayed inthe top 25 and it would have helped the 45 car in owner points!

I thought is was a very good race. Just about all of my favorites did very well today. Jeff Gordon looked like he had the car to beat. With about 30 laps to go I was having flashbacks to the days when he always hung around the top 5 all day and then took it over at the end. But alas, it was not to be. Still a third place finish and 5 bonus points for leading a lap. Moved up to 6th in the points after Texas. Matt kenseth did what he had to do. Yet another top 10. He will be very hard to catch if he keeps this up. Jimmie Johnson came from the back to have a respectable finish even with a blown cylinder. And some pretty exciting racing for Texas. Seemed to be a little more passing than I remember from down there. The one groove gave way to some wider groove action. The amount of cautions and their timing (catching Matt and Jeff in the pits) was a drawback. But all in all a great day of racing to me. :bounce:

And after the race Jeffy said something to the effect that "we would have wrecked" if it was for the win. (Speaking of him and Jr.)

Did I mention that any time Jeff leapfrogs Tony Stewart in the standings it is a very good thing? :bounce:

I liked that too. Jeff is usually good for at least one good comment after every race.
