Well, I just realized that won't be able to watch the Winston (at least not live anyhow) My best friend is getting married Saturday night....I'd probably come down with something to get out of it...but I'm the best man so that probably won't fly. Sit on the couch with a cold one or spend 6+ hours in a monkey suit hmmmmm, that's a toughy

I won't see it live either. My friends husband is playing in a band and I promised her I would go up to the bar with her. And it's not the kinda bar that will have Nascar on, don't even think there is a TV in there. I will tape it of course and watch it as soon as I get home.

stick a cold one in the mokey suit, then after its over set on the seats of the church and act like your watching the race. just pitcher the prescher being DW. :p

Don't people understand when racing season is?! It's very inconsiderate of them to plan weddings during the season ;)

Don't know bout you but if I have to go more a couple of days without racing, I start to get the skakes ;)
 
and on top of everything, I have the rehersal dinner at 6...not even gonna get to watch qualifying.............feeling the tremors coming on...

Hey y'all count me in too. I have to work 11am-8pm.the second time in a row I had to work and missed it. I only have one day off now.
 
I'll miss it also but will tape it. Going to Englishtown, New Jersey on a bus trip 2 others and I run each year to see some drag racing though the weather is gonna be so so. :unsure:
 
I hardly ever get to watch the races live, GF likes to do stuff on Sunday, I always have to watch them on Sunday night or Monday morning! I will be able to watch The Winston, tho :D
 
I am so bummed! I got home this morning about 3, couldn't wait to watch the race. Here I screwed up programing the VCR, I set it for AM instead of PM. Man was I ticked! So I totally missed it! I am catching bits and pieces on here but anything that ya all want to fill in please do. What did Ryan Newman say? What caused the wreck that Elliot got hurt in? Man I can't remmeber the last time I didn't actually see the race live or taped this really sucks!
 
I'm in the same boat you are Dee. We were sitting at the head table eating when the groom realized that he had forgotten to set up the VCR to record the race. I found out who won but that was about it when I got home about 2. Oh well, I'm not missing next weekend's race come hell or high water!!
