Gas heats and expands at three times the rate of water. When gas gets above 60 degrees the gas expands and you get less for your money. There are no laws requiring adjustments for "hot fuel", so the best thing you can do is gas up early in the morning or late at night. This is better for emissions (greenhouse gasses) as well!

It doesn't warm up that quick. And once it's in my tank ... who cares. It's already been measured.
