I've got a HP Deskjet F4480 series printer. How can I scan a document and send it as an email? Or scan and save in the computer. My system is an Apple w/Mac OS X 10.4.1. operating system.

Can anybody help me out with this?

Not a Mac user and don't know much about that, but I wonder if your printer and computer are using the same file format. I'm sure the that since both are fairly new, that both can recognize that same formats. Make sure that the article you scan is formatted so that you can send it email. Once you scan an article, you should get a menu as to where to save it and what format.

If you don't have the manual, you can read it here... http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01714002.pdf Good luck.

10.4? I'm on 10.6.5 (Snow Leopard) here at home, and leopard at work...

Things are obviously harder on a Mac than PC.
