...was closed today. Snowing steadily outside, and the road conditions are horrible. So I likely won't be going any farther out than the back yard today.
we got rain for the past 2 days, and it wasnt just a little bit . the drought conditions should be lifted after all the rain over the past month. now the cold air is coming. maybe we'll see some snow this year. you might think im crazy, but it is much better to have snow than ice.
Was driving back from Charlotte yesterday. As soon as we got to Black Mountain, near Asheville....snow! Snowed all the way to the top of Viking Mountain (TN state line), then turned to rain. Then sleet. Got up this morning and my truck was frozen shut and I had about a 1/4 inch thick sheet of ice in the bed. (At least I know my bedliner retains water...)
Like judas1, I have seen two solid days of rain and now it is cold and windy. I believe the weather persons said if this rain had been snow we would have about a foot of snow plus drifts.
I much prefer rain over snow. But then a foot of snow is better than ice any time.
Ant to Tn-Ward fan. How did you get ice in your bed? Do you sleep outdoors? And why do you need a bedliner for your bed?
