Just kidding... But seriously, a truely great driver who I don't see retiring for a long time. If he can still mash the peddle, he will still drive a race car...

;)

He is a class act, I was a fan when he drove the old#90 Red Barons pizza Junie Donleavy car! You folks remember that one?

I hear he'll be retiring at the end of 2006. But only from Cup, he'll be racing everything else he can get his hands on.

Very well. He almost pulled one off at Daytona in that ride. Junie woulda busted if he had.

I miss Junie. :(

He last drove it in 1936, though...you are older than I thought. <_<
1936? You talking about Kenny there 97? I'm not even sure Junie drove then, but I could be mistaken. :) Hey, remember when Kenny crossed the finish line in that car upside down? Kenny will be forever remembered as a class driver who was never afraid of driving any race car. I'd bet he would drive every night for the rest of his life if only he could. Talk about a racing junkie. As to when he might retire, I'd be willing to bet that it won't be left up to him. He will probably be forced from racing a Cup car and will go fighting all the way.

Nah, I was just kidding Buck.

:p

And, oh yeah. I remember it well. I always liked Kenny.

97, I think there are few drivers in this world who are like Kenny and of course, Tony Stewart comes to mind. Yeah, there are others as well, but few that are as famous. John Andretti comes to mind as a guy who will drive anything. Does anyone remember when John drove a AA/Fuel dragster during a season? Everyone knows that he came from the CART ranks and USAC, but NHRA? John too is a driving fool. :)

I would have to include Red Farmer with that group...although he isnt as well known. Very instrumental in Tony's stock car career too, from what I have gathered. As a mentor of sorts.

And yep. I remember JA's venture into drag racing.
