Wouldn't be the first actor/musican turned politican. Ronald Regan of course, was President of the USA & Governor of California. Sony Bono was mayor of Palm Springs, Ca & I believe he was in the California State Senate also? I'm going by memory here. Clint Eastwood was mayor of Carmel, Ca. Fred Gundy (hope that's right), Gopher from the Love Boat was a US Congressman from Iowa.
