Wow, what timing! I don't know what if anything this will mean but he's leaving and heading to MWR.....

Scott Miller and Richard Childress Racing have parted ways.

Miller had served as director of competition since 2003 for RCR, whose drivers are Clint Bowyer, Jeff Burton, Kevin Harvick and Paul Menard.

After a short sabbatical, sources said Tuesday, Miller will fill a similar role at Michael Waltrip Racing.

Kent Day will serve as interim director of competiton for RCR until a permanent replacement can be found.

Miller was in his second stint with RCR, having initially worked with the team from 1997 to 2001.

From here.

Hmmm...paving the way for Bowyer?

I doubt RCR will miss him. The performance of RCR's teams is all over the place.

Hmmmm, sounds like Mikey might finaly be spending some of that money Toyota threw at him.

I don't know, I'd bet that Mikey had been throwing quite a bit of money @ his last Director of Competition, Steve Hallam. He was from the F1 ranks.
