..will be announced at 4:00pm est.

He and O.J. will be playing golf by tomorrow afternoon...

unfortanitly, my money is also on not guilty...

he and oj can go find the real killers, maybe the ramsey's can help too

Guilty on both counts is the verdict. First degree on Laci, 2nd on Conner. Sentencing phase of this will most likely not happen until after the first of the year.

I do expect there to be numerous appeals do to Jurors being replaced.

wow, i'm really surprised.

looks like the courts got one right.

Just goes to show that most of the time, our Judicial system works.

Bye Bye Scott!

I am glad they they found him guilty. But it is a complete surprise to me. I figured with all the jury crap. They would call a mistrial.

He will probably get the death penalty. But, he will spend so many years in appeals that it will cost the government millions to finally put him to death. He deserves to die slowly and painfully. But in the end he will get a lethal injection and slowly drift off to meet the final judgement. That is what is really sad.

Unreal.....guilty of two counts of first degree murder.

Didn't think it would happen.

Good.

Now all that's left to do is kill the bastard and everything can be put to right.

Killing the bastard will make everything right? He needs to fry? Lord, listen at you people. Your pathetic!

To me, nothing was proven in this case. They tried to say Laci was choked to her death, but at first they said it was a bloody scene at the Peterson house. What the hell? They screw the facts up, and that's that for them. No proven murder, no weapon, what about the crime scene? And for that matter, what about the dog?

It's funny to me that since the jury got who they wanted, they found a verdict REALLY fast. What'd it take, 20 minutes?

If he were guilty, "frying him" won't help solve anything. The death penalty is nothing but a cheap way out. An $80 ****tail on the State for a lifetime of sleep, big whoop.

He may or may not be guilty, we may never know, but to me it was never proven.

You're the pathetic one man, you know as well as I do that bastard is guilty. He killed, thats right, KILLED his wife an unborn son. Putting him away for ten life sentences will do nothing. His unborn son never saw the light of day and neither should that POS!!!!

Oh, you were there? Excuse me for being rude, I didn't know! Just for the record, what exactly happened that day anyways?

Well a jury of his peers found him guilty..........that's way our system is. He's guilty........it was proven. It don't matter what you think. It only matters what the jury thinks and they heard it all........something you did not hear. It's sort of like OJ.........no matter what anyone says, he's innocent. The jury said so, so that's the way it is. There is a difference though......Scott could get an appeal and have another shot at his innocence. We don't get the same shot at OJ. It's a capital murder case and death is an option for his sentencing...........but, again, it's not up you (nor to me or anyone else on this forum). We are not pathetic. What's pathetic is people who seem to think that because they don't believe what is a fact think that others are pathetic.

BTW, are you a resident of the state of California? If not then you have even less to say about the death penalty here. And if you are, then perhaps you should write a letter to your state representatives voicing your displeasure about the legal system in this state.

No, I am not a resident of the state of California. But it doesn't really matter where you live, the death penalty is all the same! They all rely on Lethal Injection to get the job done, and it's a load of crap. It works, but it's the easy way out.

To use your own words.....

"Oh, you were there?"

And I would glady give the state $80.00....its a lot less than the $100,000's of dollars they would spend on him if he gets life.

$80 won't pay to keep him alive for one day in prison. Save your tax dollars, do the right thing, and kill the bastard. He's had his trial, which is more than his wife and child got, now it's time for him to die.

I think we need to go back to hangin em on the street so ppl will see what will happan if you do kill someone. '

i may not live in CA but i dont think DE and Cutie what there taxes to pay for Scott's food, bed, ect tell they die, thats money they could use for something else.

The state of KY still has the chair, but they only ones that can use it is if you was sentenced to death before 1999 (i belive, and even then you have the choice the chiar or injection) (on a trip to the Kentucky state pen, i got to set in the chiar, dont know if this is the one they still use or not, but i have set in the chiar...... it's kind of comfy )

hang the SOB.........throw him in the bay ALIVE with cement blocks around his neck and feet....let the sharks and fish eat him alive......same he did to Laci and connor, he doesn't deserve to sit in prison..he should go straight to the gas chamber..lethal injection is not good enough for him,

they said if he gets the death penalty, straight to death row at San Quentin, or if he gets life in prison, no parole...he goes right to Pelican Bay......

can't stand looking at his smug face, and little smirk......he makes me sick......

I like the idea of stranding him at a leper colony with no means of escape, no clothes, no $$, no food, and no taxpayer $$ being spent. Then the SOB can suffer and die an agonizing, prolonged death!

They sell cheap ammo at WalMart all day long. I'll foot the bill for all 50 states for a calendar year if they'll use it.
