majestyx said:Guilty on both counts is the verdict. First degree on Laci, 2nd on Conner. Sentencing phase of this will most likely not happen until after the first of the year.
I do expect there to be numerous appeals do to Jurors being replaced.

They better not give him the death penalty!

Didn't think it would happen.
bowtie said:You're the pathetic one man, you know as well as I do that bastard is guilty. He killed, thats right, KILLED his wife an unborn son. Putting him away for ten life sentences will do nothing. His unborn son never saw the light of day and neither should that POS!!!!
No, i'm not closed minded. I look at things realistically.bowtie said:come on man, you got to be kidding me right?
No, I am not a resident of the state of California. But it doesn't really matter where you live, the death penalty is all the same! They all rely on Lethal Injection to get the job done, and it's a load of crap. It works, but it's the easy way out.DE_Wrangler_2 said:BTW, are you a resident of the state of California? If not then you have even less to say about the death penalty here. And if you are, then perhaps you should write a letter to your state representatives voicing your displeasure about the legal system in this state.
slick-nick said:To me, nothing was proven in this case. They tried to say Laci was choked to her death, but at first they said it was a bloody scene at the Peterson house. What the hell? They screw the facts up, and that's that for them. No proven murder, no weapon, what about the crime scene? And for that matter, what about the dog?
It's funny to me that since the jury got who they wanted, they found a verdict REALLY fast. What'd it take, 20 minutes?
If he were guilty, "frying him" won't help solve anything. The death penalty is nothing but a cheap way out. An $80 ****tail on the State for a lifetime of sleep, big whoop.
He may or may not be guilty, we may never know, but to me it was never proven.
