The kick looked like a "get the f$#k away from me" kick that ended up hitting near the wrong area. Brazilians and their soccer, man. Lol

Police have now released the names of two RCR crew members who were arrested for assault last night: Mike Scearce and Thomas Costello.
 
Obviously karate. Made his entire body a weapon.
 
Obviously a pu**y just like his daddy, if FB aint pulling our leg, kickin folks in the cajones.
 
Scott and company don't sound like they had a good night. Piquet probably won't press charges. Wonder if they will lose their jobs with Childress, or maybe he will pay for some self defense courses.
 
wonder if he kicked the Scott pit guy in the shoulder? might have to pull him off the pit crew until he heals

All I have read was 1 had a shoulder injury but keep guessing.

We dont know the details yet, Scotts crew men coulda been hit with a ball bat, tire iron, hammer or 8 guys, Piquet- 0 Scott- 0 until all of the so called facts are in and we may never know the truth.
 
The Scottsters need to sharpen up not only their driving, but they need to learn how to do an after race bumper car. Scott ended up turned around and he couldn't move..I forgot, I have to give Piquet another point. 1 he won the bumper cars, 1 he won the scuffle, and 1 he won the Scotty crew slug fest. So that's 3 for Piquet Turner/Scott, and 0 for Scott/Childress..Wonder if any cowboy hats got stomped?
 
Great... now all male drivers and crew personel will probably have to wear a Nascar approved cup for any Nascar sanctioned races. This new safety equipment may not be in the teams budget so they may have to make them in house. That would be a whole new job description for the team fabricator.:D

Scott 3rd in points, Piquet Jr. way back in 14th in points. Advantage: Scott.
 
I used to like Piquet, but this incident has made me really dislike him. Scott was obviously in the right -- I'm not sure what happened at Mville but what I saw happen was Piquet run over the back of Scott's car, then wreck him aftre the race was done, then punch him in the crotch. If I was Turner Scott, I would fire that piece of Brazilian bullcrap...oh I mean Piquet Jr.

Uh ..no..Piquet has only run 11 nationwide races 1 win and 2 top tens with 1 pole. 1st year full time Nationwide.
Scotty has run 116 nationwide races..0 yes, 0 wins, 28 top tens, and 1 pole. Pretty much a wheel holder.

Piquet's race record and Scotts in the trucks..Piquet has a better record...again
So Scott really needs to get out of the way he is holding him up

Brian Scott five Top 10s in seven races this year, average finish 10.6. Nelson Piquet Jr. no Top 10s in seven races this year, average finish 17.3.

like that will mean something? nobody can read the facts.:) Wait until Piquet hands them their butt on a platter on a road course..they won't believe it, because they don't know he ran 28 formula 1 races and won a race in that series. Not to mention three lower level championships in road racing.

Road courses are the only tracks he's been a threat at so far in the Nationwide Series.
 
I don't get how sending two of his flunkies to the motorcoach lot to get Nelson , makes Brian Scott the bigger man.

)(4-27-2013) UPDATE: Police have released the names of two Richard Childress Racing crew members arrested for alleged assault at Richmond International Raceway late Friday night. Michael A. Scearce, 50, and Thomas F. Costello, 35, were taken into custody after a postrace incident spilled over to the driver/owner motorhome lot. The assault injured one of the two adult male victims, whose names were not released. Scearce and Costello are both members of RCR's #2 team, which fields cars for Brian Scott. Both men were charged with misdemeanors and released early Saturday morning, according to Henrico County police Lt. Linda Toney. A court date for both will be determined at a later time.(USA Today)(4-27-2013)
 
RICHMOND, Va. -- Two Richard Childress Racing crew members have been arrested following a fight in the motorhome lot at Richmond International Raceway.
Henrico County police say Michael Searce was arrested on two charges of misdemeanor assault, and Thomas Costello was arrested on one count of misdemeanor assault. They were released early Saturday.
Both are crew members for RCR driver Brian Scott's Nationwide Series team.
The fight occurred after Friday night's Nationwide Series race.
Scott and rival driver Nelson Piquet Jr. had tangled on the track and in the pits after. Crews for both drivers confronted each other after the race when Scott went over to Piquet's car. Piquet shoved him and then kicked Scott in the groin.
The fight that led to the arrests occurred after the drivers had returned to their motorhomes.
 
Wonder where ol Brian was when this was happening..calling his rich dad asking for more money?:)
